The Indus BookScanner RS is a scanner for bound books, magazines, flat documents, maps and drawings that can be as large as 18 inches x 24 inches (45 cm x 60 cm) and as much as 4 inches (10 cm) thick. The RS is a very fast scanner taking less than one second to scan the material. The built-in adjustable book cradle allows the scanning of books in a versatile V-mode or flat mode cradle.

Scanning can be activated without software interface use, by two scan buttons conveniently located in the front. Zoom-in and Zoom-out buttons, also located in the front, allow users to adjust the area being scanned, based on the size of the original and the thickness of the book, to create perfect and sharp images. Scanned images can be sent to a network storage device, or to external USB flash drives without a computer connection. Built-in latest technology computer eliminates the requirement for a host computer. The full-featured RS is the lowest priced planetary overhead A2+ size scanner.
